Built upon the principles of Psycholinguistic Mechanics provided by PsychLing and extended by LINGA, Feels is the world's first psycholinguistics video sharing app. Feels is psycholinguistics made simple. The mission of Feels is to promote objective analysis of real 🗣️human language via fun, short videos, animated GIFs, and combined with the 🪄magic of psycholinguistics. Feels does this by organizing, analyzing, and making freely available a growing collection of Feels, or highly structured short-form videos that explain the contents of a given conversation between two or more people.
Mindspace Studio podcast project merged into Feels project

This change reflects our vision for the future of video and media in general. The Mindspace Studio podcast reached a modest number of dedicated viewers and listeners, and the Feels app is uniquely positioned to reach many more because of its innovative format. The Mindspace Studio website will remain active and existing episodes will be converted into clips. Thank you to our supporters, listeners, viewers, and guests. We look forward to delighting many more people via quality programming focused on psychology, language, and computer science.
Project launch–LINGA
July 30, 2025 · CRS StaffThe CRS is proud to announce the launch of its eight project: LINGA. Built upon the principles of Psycholinguistic Mechanics, LINGA is the world's first psycholinguistics technology company. LINGA is an authorship identity verification as a service via its proprietary Linguistic Fingerprint™ technology. Through the LINGA web application, guests complete writing prompts in order to build their Linguistic Fingerprint™. Once built, guests can discover their true selves as expressed in the form-factor of writing. Guests can also scan written documents in order to generate a unique Authorship Verification Certificate, which is certified by LINGA and available as a downloadable PDF file. AngieOS project changes status to ON-HOLD
August 22, 2024 · CRS StaffThe AngieOS project has changed its status from PLANNED to ON-HOLD. This change is partially due to the project's recent rejection by YCombinator for the summer 2024 batch. Moreso, we believe that the market timing for AngieOS may be suboptimal. We look forward to continuing our work and securing funds for our first commercial project in the near future.
AngieOS from CRS rejected by YCombinator summer 2024
June 20, 2024 · CRS StaffAngieOS, an AI project by CRS, was rejected by YCombinator for inclusion into its Summer 2024 batch. YCombinator, or YC, is a San Francisco based technology startup accelerator company. Each season, YC accepts a number of applicants and provides winners with funding and mentorship. Despite being rejected, the CRS is thankful to have had the opportunity to apply; and we look forward to consideration of YC in the future. Because the CRS believes in full transparency of its work, successes, and failures, we have decided to release a redacted version of the final application. The CRS will now consider whether the timing is right with respect to the AngieOS project.

Built upon the principles of Psycholinguistic Mechanics, this project is a comprehensive theoretical framework for analyzing human behavior in the form-factor of writing. The website will contain documentation in the form of articles that will explain the theoretical approach, define important terms and concepts, and demonstrate the utility of various applications via methods. This project will hopefully provide a simple albeit robust system for interpreting the psychological aspects of any piece of writing.

February 13, 2021 · CRS StaffThe CRS is proud to announce the launch of its third project: eHammurabi. The single-page website lets you browse the legal statutes found in the Law Code of Hammurabi. For each item, we provide images of the cuneiform inscription, transliteration, normalization, and an English translation. This project will hopefully accomplish a few research objectives. First, we hope to analyze the laws with respect to their psychological significance. Second, we hope to invite others to contribute similar digital humanities projects that have been difficult to compile.

February 29, 2020 · CRS StaffThe CRS is proud to announce the launch of its second project: Allo. Alloαlpha lets you browse dictionary entries and definitions for dead ancient languages. This project will hopefully accomplish a few research objectives. First, we hope to understand the role that language has in forming, changing, and interacting with human consciousness. Second, by taking a structured data approach, we hope to quantitatively analyze the similarities and differences between some of the world's oldest languages. Third, we hope to provide a modern and user-friendly means by which casual readers can dip into dead ancient languages. Our first language will be Latin, and probably followed by ancient Greek, classical Sumerian, Sanskrit, and then others.

Future project announcement—Allo
April 7, 2019 · CRS StaffToday, the CRS is announcing its intention to launch a new project—Allo. Allo will be a modern and user-friendly dictionary for dead ancient languages like Latin and Sumerian. While we cannot share much else about this project at the current moment, we feel confident that it will assist greatly in our understanding of how humans developed consciousness.

March 13, 2019 · CRS StaffThe CRS is proud to announce the launch of its first project: OMNIKA. OMNIKAαlpha lets you search the world's mythological stories through summaries, artifacts, and translations. This project will hopefully accomplish a few research objectives. First, we hope to understand the mentality of humanity's first written records. Second, by taking a structured data approach, we will be able to analyze these powerful stories from a quantitative standpoint—something that has probably never been done before (to our extent). Third, we hope to promote further research and analysis by the scholarly community. Collecting all of this data will likely take several years. At some point, and in line with the project's mission, OMNIKA will hopefully become the world's largest digital library of world mythology. Because of the sensitive nature of this project's content, we have decided to firmly establish core operating guidelines to ensure that our work is used for good.

The Consciousness Research Society (CRS) is a computer science research initiative focused on the development of artificial general intelligence (AGI). We have decided to take a unique approach that differs from other companies and individuals. Mainly, we believe that by better understanding the origin, nature, and mechanics of human consciousness, we will be able to build next-generation artificial intelligence. We strongly endorse using an interdisciplinary approach and freely share our work through online tools (projects).
