What

CRS is an interdisciplinary artificial intelligence (A.I.) research project.

Goal

The object of this enterprise is to build next-generation A.I. that can surpass collective human capability by orders of magnitude.

Opinion

Our contrarian opinion is that all existing computer science approaches, methods, tools, assumptions, and beliefs related to A.I. are inadequate, such that no amount of time, money, or progress in the current direction will yield next-generation A.I.

Approach

A full reassessment of all core assumptions related to human intelligence is necessary, starting with understanding how Homo sapiens gained awareness of their awareness of the world--i.e., consciousness. Read why
